What can I expect from the Moco Museum London?
Our goal is to bring the people in London closer to the wonders of modern and contemporary art. Expect modern classics by the likes of Warhol, Basquiat, Kusama, Haring, as well as contemporary stars like KAWS, Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst & many more!
Where is the experience located?
Moco Museum is located at 1 Marble Arch, London.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
The museum experience will take place in an indoor venue.
How long does the experience last?
The visit will take between one hour to one hour and a half.
Is there air conditioning?
There is climate controlled ventilation and air handling equipment throughout the museum.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
Deaf people will be able to enjoy this experience as it is mostly visual.
What accessibility options do we have for someone visually impaired?
We have audio guides throughout the museum. Please see the next question for more detail on audio guides.
All staff will be able to assist any customers entering the museum. There will be staff on hand to assist throughout the visitor experience if necessary.
Will audio guides be available?
Yes, we have audio guides throughout the museum - easily scanned and logged into, on a smartphone - visitors are requested to listen to the guide via earphones so as not to disturb others. The audio guides are available in the following languages - EN, NL, ES, FR, IT, DE.
Will there be strobe lights?
No - but there might be areas that people could have sensitivity towards - such as the mirror room. There will be signage outside any relevant installation space to advise visitors of this.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
No.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Of course! Feel free to take photos without flash and share them tagging us @mocomuseum. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other visitors. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience / exhibition?
There are no seating locations within the museum for visitors.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, the museum has restrooms, 2 DDA toilets and a baby change area.
ABOUT ACCESS TO THE EVENT
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
Yes, it is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket to ensure no delay or extended waiting time. Depending on the current capacity of the museum, you will be allowed to enter slightly earlier or later than your allocated time, but this may require waiting time until space is available. If you have purchased the flex or the flex+priority add-on, you can visit whenever you like during the same day.
What happens if I arrive late?
We will do our best to accommodate any late arrivals. If the museum is at capacity, you will be required to wait until there is allocated space for you to enter.
Can I bring animals?
Only registered service dogs will be permitted into the museum. This will need to be pre-arranged. Our hosts will communicate access requirements and can assist you if needed. If you are not alone, then your guide dog can be looked after by our hosts in a safe space.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
We aim to make access to the collection as inclusive and welcoming as possible. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator. Carers will be given complimentary entry at the door. Please see more under the question “How do I book a ticket for my carer?”
Is there parking available?
There is no public parking available through Moco Museum, but there are multiple local options available. The closest car park is on Bryanston Street or on Great Cumberland Place just a few minutes walk away.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
While photography is allowed, flash photography is prohibited. No food and drink (including alcohol) may be consumed within the museum. For security reasons, please do not wear a hat, cap or sunglasses inside. Due to limited space, large bags or suitcases are not allowed in the museum, but can be left near the locker area at the owner's risk. Medium/Small bags can be kept in our free lockers or worn in front (so you don't knock anything over) or anything which may disturb the other visitors.
Is there a cloakroom?
There is no public cloakroom available. There are lockers in the lobby, free of charge, on a first come first serve basis. All items left in these lockers are left at owner’s risk.
Are strollers allowed?
No strollers are allowed inside. Visitors are required to fold the strollers and leave them in the foyer by the lockers, only if there is space, which could be limited.
Can I store my luggage/suitcase at the museum?
Due to limited space, large bags or suitcases are not allowed in the museum, but can be left near the locker area at the owner's risk. Medium/Small bags can be kept in our free lockers or worn in front (so you don't knock anything over) or anything which may disturb the other visitors. Suitcases and larger luggage can be safely stored for a small fee just 2 minutes walk from the museum, booked via the link here.
ABOUT TICKETS
Can I purchase a ticket at the event?
Yes, we will have tickets available to purchase on arrival, subject to availability. If the museum is at capacity there may be a small wait time in order to purchase for the next time slot available.
Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, the onsite staff will validate your contactless tickets directly by scanning from your phone.
Do I need to buy multiple flex or flex+priority add-ons if I am buying more than one ticket?
Yes, the flex or the flex+priority add-ons are applied per ticket, so if visitors are purchasing more than one ticket and are interested in having these add-ons, they must buy the add-on for each ticket. However, if visitors are purchasing one of these add-ons, and have children under the age of 7 with them (who can enter for free), this add-on is not required for the children.
What is the difference between the flex add-on and the flex+priority add-on?
The flex add-on allows visitors the flexibility to come at any time during their selected day, while the flex+priority add-on allows visitors this same flexibility along with the added benefit of being able to skip the line.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
How do I book a ticket for my carer?
Visitors requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker.
For this experience, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance and the carer will be allowed in for free.
Do children need to pay for a ticket?
Children under the age of 7 do not need to pay for a ticket and can enter the museum for free. However, please purchase a free child (0-6) ticket for them. For children above this age but younger than 18, please purchase a youth (7-17) ticket.
Is there a lost and found area at the event?
We recommend asking the on-site staff if they have found your belongings. If you cannot seek assistance on-site, please contact us.
Is it possible to make large group bookings for corporates, educational institutions and other groups?
Yes, we would love to host your group at Moco Museum London, and can offer concessions, tours and experiences for large parties. Please reach out to us at londongroups@mocomuseum.com and we'll get back to you.
Is it possible to host a private event at Moco Museum?
Yes, Moco Museum London is available to hire as an event venue. Please reach out to us at london@mocomuseum.com with an outline of your event, and we'll get back to you.

For how long is my membership valid?
If you buy your membership before London opening, your membership is valid until 1 year after London opening. All memberships bought after London opening will be valid for 1 year after purchase date.
When can I start using my membership?
You can visit Moco museum Amsterdam and Barcelona as soon as you get your membership, all other perks with an asterisk * will be available once Moco Museum London opens in Summer 2024.
